How this site makes money, stated plainly.

The short version

honeypwer.com participates in affiliate programmes. If you click a link on this site and buy HoneyPower, we may earn a commission from the seller. You pay exactly the same price either way — the commission comes out of the seller's margin, not your pocket.

This disclosure is made in line with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's guidance on endorsements and testimonials, and it appears in the ticker at the top of every page and in the footer of every page, not only here.

What that means for what you read

It means we have a financial interest in you buying, and you should read everything on this site knowing that. We think the right response to that conflict is to be unusually specific about the product's weaknesses rather than to pretend the conflict does not exist.

So, on the page carrying the buy buttons, we state that:

• Not one amount appears on the artwork for any of the six named ingredients.
• Two capsules cannot hold the gram-scale doses the ginseng, maca and tribulus trials used.
• Horny goat weed has no human erection trial behind it at all.
• The tribulus trial that measured androgens directly in young men found no change.
• The Cochrane review of ginseng — the best-studied ingredient here — found a pooled effect below its own threshold for a noticeable difference.

Those are in the dosage section, the critique and the verdict. They are not hidden on a page nobody reads.

What we do not do

• We do not accept payment to change a conclusion, a score or a piece of wording.
• We do not publish testimonials, invented buyer names or review counts of our own.
• We do not present ourselves as the seller, the manufacturer or an official channel.
• We do not quote figures we cannot trace to the artwork, the seller's own page or a published paper.

Every clinical claim on this site links to the paper behind it, usually on PubMed. Click a few. If a link does not support what we said, tell us and we will correct it on the page.
